Cardiothoracic Surgeon Weekend Locum Coverage

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide part-time weekend locum coverage in Illinois. This role supports a growing team and involves call-based coverage focused on emergent cardiothoracic cases.Overview: 1-2 weekends of coverage needed each month (Possible future coverage needs of 10-14 day stretch) Providers take call and any emergent cases that present, round on any patients we have, all call, no clinic, cover emergent cases only. Avg 3 calls per weekend unless change in condition of a pt. Daily AM rounding with CVU support Weekends Friday 10am to Monday 5am Manage and perform emergent cardiothoracic procedures, including CABG EMR: Epic Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Minimum 5 years of experience Active Illinois medical license DEA and CSR required Join a dedicated cardiac team and support an established program serving the Quincy community.
