Job Description
Summary
Office of the Chief Information Officer is seeking several Customer Engagement & Service Integration positions to provide sustained, mission aligned support across NASA centers. These roles are integrators between Centers & OCIO services, ensuring customer requirements are captured, communicated, & translated into actionable IT delivery. They lead essential functions such as requirements analysis, service integration, technical coordination, & oversight of activities for diverse stakeholders.

Duties
Gather, analyze, and communicate Center IT requirements across mission and institutional organizations.
Serve as a primary integrator between Center customers and OCIO enterprise service lines to resolve service issues and coordinate delivery.
Translate Agency enterprise IT changes into Center-specific implementation plans and communicate impacts to mission stakeholders.
Provide oversight and coordination for hybrid collaboration technologies, enterprise services, and cross-center IT environments.
Support integration and provisioning of services across communications, cybersecurity, data storage, applications, and related IT environments.
Gather, validate, and represent Center customer requirements to enterprise service providers to ensure alignment with mission needs.
Provide technical judgment, requirements analysis, and cross-organizational coordination needed to sustain a mission-ready IT environment.
Evaluate enterprise service offerings and assess their impacts on Center operations, mission programs, and local IT capabilities.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
You may meet the basic requirements through substitution of education for experience
To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level.
Engaging in customer and service integration activities, such as eliciting IT requirements, developing compliant solutions across the IT lifecycle, and providing guidance that enhances user proficiency;
Troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues across multiple service areas (such as networking, applications, data center, customer relationship, and hybrid collaboration technologies) while supporting both internal and external customers;
Collaborating across organizations to plan, coordinate, and provide technical oversight for IT initiatives, ensuring successful execution of enterprise services, projects, and mission supporting technologies.

Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
