Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team in Stockbridge, GA. This full-time position offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment where the APP will work closely with our team of trauma surgeons to provide exceptional care to trauma patients. The APP will be responsible for providing advanced practice care to trauma patients, which includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. They will assist in surgical procedures, including both preoperative and postoperative care. The role involves performing clinical rounds, patient evaluations, and formulating treatment plans. Additionally, the APP will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and participate in trauma resuscitations and activations. They will order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs, educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care, and maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
