Description
CHRISTUS St. Vincent's growing orthopedic team, is seeking a fulltime APC with
2+ years of experience. This position is clinic based and the provider will provide hand and upper
extremity surgery assist, see new, post-op & follow ups (all ages) in clinic, will facilitate
injections, refer to specialists as needed, provide consultative evaluation of patients, integrate
input from other physicians and team members to inform diagnoses and treatment programs, assess
whether injuries require medication, physical therapy, or a combination of both, guide patients in
improving their physical condition, manage pain, and avoiding future injuries. The APC will also
maintain records in EPIC, identify risk factors for injuries and educate patients on how to manage
overall health, existing injuries, and prevention. No ER Call but minimal group call is expected: 1
wk every 3 months -- Fridays through Thursdays may take phone calls from the answering service --
will not have to go to hospital. This is a full-time (40hr/wk) position.
