Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Roswell with NES Health NES Health, a physician-led healthcare organization, is currently seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico. About the Hospital A 162-bed community hospital, part of CHS Accredited as a Level III Trauma Center Features Medhost EDIS EMR (transitioning to CERNER Sept 2024)  Serves as a teaching hospital, hosting medical students, APP students, Nursing students, and RadTech students. Coverage Areas Include Teleradiology and Tele Interventional Radiology Pediatrics (covered by FM physicians) Psychiatry (25 bed adult psych unit) Anesthesiology (all CRNA team) Tele-Intensivists 24/7 Ultrasound Hospitalist General Surgery Podiatry Gastroenterology Cardiology (2 diagnostic and 1 interventional) Tele Neurology 24/7 Neurology Accredited Chest Pain Center Certified Primary Stroke Center Program Details and Operational Hours 23 Bed Emergency Department with 28,000 Annual ED Visits 16% admission rate from the ED 18 hours/day of ED scribe coverage ED writes bridge holding orders and responds to floor codes 12-hour Physician Shifts (36 hours/day) and 12-hour APP Shifts (12 hours/day) Candidate Qualifications Active New Mexico license or the ability to attain unrestricted state license Candidates must be residency trained and BE/BC in EM, FM, or IM Active BLS, ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required About the Community Nestled at the confluence of the Spring, Hondo, and Pecos rivers, Roswell is a vibrant city steeped in history and culture.
