General Surgery Physician - North of Winston-Salem, NC

Job Description: There are currently three surgeons on staff. Office hours: 8:00 am " 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday 8:00 am " 12:00pm, Friday (but can expand hours as needed) Physicians see an average of 10-15 patients per day, per provider, in the office. Assist Gastroenterologist with some clinic patients. On-Call: current schedule 1:3. The Surgeon on call must be able to respond physically onsite within 20 minutes to a call. Some On-Call coverage assistance with Gastroenterology, as needed. All call compensation included in base salary Operating Room procedures are done in scheduled blocks, 4 days a week. The Hospital EMR system is Meditech Expanse. The system allows the hospital and practices to share the same patient database so providers can see all their patients' information, as needed.
