Duties
Maintain Park grounds through mowing, trimming, and trash removal; safely operate tractors, utility vehicles, and trucks.
Execute special event setups and tear downs, including stages, banners, and various support equipment.
Sanitize public restrooms and pressure wash pavilions and common areas to ensure facility cleanliness.
Coordinate equipment rentals by managing the issuance, return, and repair of items like bounce houses and dunk tanks.
Repair irrigation systems, including troubleshooting line breaks, replacing sprinkler heads, and adjusting timers.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Opens and unpacks cartons of materials and removes contents. Moves or uses hand truck to move various items requiring delivery or storage. Sets up and breaks down multi-functional areas. Arranges mobile furniture, movable walls, light equipment, etc.
Polices assigned areas, collects and disposes of trash and debris, cuts grass and pulls weeds, waters grass and flower beds, spreads mulch, and rakes leaves. Shovels snow and puts down salt.
Performs comprehensive floor care, cleans and disinfects surfaces, replenishes supplies, and reports maintenance needs to the supervisor. Washes and waxes vehicles.
Performs comprehensive facility cleaning and floor maintenance, manages supplies, and reports necessary repairs to the supervisor.
Proficient in manual labor, cleaning, and grounds maintenance. Safely operates and maintains basic hand tools and equipment while following written instructions and safety signage.
Works independently on routine tasks with guidance on new assignments. Ensures compliance through progress reviews and proactively reports hazards or equipment issues.
Requires regular physical activity—including standing, bending, and kneeling—and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 45 pounds.
Works in various indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to weather, noise, and debris. Adheres to safety protocols and uses personal protective equipment (PPE) to mitigate the risk of minor injuries.
Performs all duties as assigned.
Qualifications

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
Three (3) months of laboring experience required. Must have the ability to use, control and clean tools and power equipment used, and ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervision of each task assigned.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
