HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MILITARY) (T32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military grade in the Alabama Air National Guard. MAXIMUM MILITARY RANK: TSGT

*Other Requirements: For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position with experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: You must have at least one year equivalent to at least next lower grade level in the following KSAs (knowledge, skills and abilities): Knowledge of, and skill in applying a comprehensive body of military human resources rules, guidelines, and instructions to provide technical support in the assigned program area and to research, study and analyze all aspects of the assigned military function(s). Ability to analyze information, to determine it's relevance, and to provide options to management/supervisors/military members regarding appropriate course of action. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Analytical skill and judgment as well as knowledge of the mission of the wing and other units serviced.
