Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES: Contribute to the team responsible for maintaining operational and executive level reporting and managing datasets used for predictive modeling and business performance monitoring; develop and test ETL solutions using Python, IICS, Kubernetes, Big Data technologies (Hadoop), and SQL; create enterprise level ETL pipelines and processes, and perform ETL troubleshooting; perform Linux shell scripting; develop software and data solutions using Agile project management; attend daily standup calls for assigned projects; attend meetings designed to determine project and engineering requirements; create technical documentation using understanding of internal business areas and processes, as well as working knowledge of database design, data manipulation, implementation, data flow & analysis; preemptively recognize and resolve technical issues using knowledge of processes; optimize data sources and processing rules to ensure appropriate data quality of all products; act as a subject matter expert in technical areas assigned; and guide and mentor junior-level engineers

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; and two (2) years of experience using Python and Kubernetes; developing ETL pipelines; performing Linux shell scripting; developing software using Agile project management; using Big Data technologies (Hadoop); and performing ETL troubleshooting
