**NP Psychiatry Opening in TN** Located in ***Rogersville, TN*** - 50 miles from Johnson City Full-time, Permanent Seeking a Psychiatric Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work Full-Time in our Rogersville, Tennessee location. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will cover a range of patient cases including consults with new patients and managing medications for community patients as well as Ballad Health team members and their covered dependents.The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will be expected to work with patients ages seventeen and up on a set schedule. Referral hospitals and mental health facilities nearby Collaboration with on-site Board-Certified Psychiatrist Schedule: 10-hour shifts; 8 am to 6 pm during weekdays No Call No weekends Qualifications: Master s degree in nursing. Certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by a national certifying agency (i.e., ANCC). Maintains certification through required continuing education and hours of practice according to the requirements of certifying agency. Current or ability to immediately obtain an APRN license in the state of Virginia. Active DEA license to prescribe controlled substances as per department protocols. Open to New Graduate NP with previous mental health experience as an RN.
