Nocturnist Job with Flexible Scheduling Options

Nocturnist opportunity with a DNV accredited, 267-bed regional level II trauma center in the Upper Midwest. Join a well established and thriving Hospitalist. This hospital has a mentoring environment and uses the best medical technology available with the highest level of patient compassion. This is a patient-centered position in a collegial atmosphere and are focused on clinical excellence.8p to 6a schedule (10 hour shift).  0.5 FTE only.  Cover hospital admissions/consults/phone calls from 8pm-6am. .  Patients are then seen by their primary physician or daytime hospitalist during regular business hours..   There are currently 5 physicians in this group. Some of them also rotate on days every once in a while so that's an option too..  Onsite intensivists so ICU work is minimal. Average inpatient census varies, but very, very manageable. Full access to sub-specialty support..  Community - population of 150k with service area of 500k. Nestled on the shores of Lake Superior with only two hours to Minneapolis.
