Supervisory Information Technology Program Manager (ACIO)

Summary A successful candidate in this position will serve as the Associate Chief Information Officer, Information Technology and Operations (IT & OPS) for all matters related to information management and operational technology. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining a road map that is flexible, and implements policies and procedures that enable strong security and risk-management capabilities that continually support mission objectives and comply with established regulations. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. -AND- Specialized Experience Statement: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the Federal Service i.e., EN-04 or GS-15. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience serving as Information Technology Manager with the authority and responsibility for overseeing the security of operated IT systems and operations; Developing risk assessment techniques to identify vulnerabilities of Information Technology systems; and Overseeing project costs, deliverables, risks, timelines and resources. Examples of Specialized Experience: Experience developing IT systems design, system controls, and project management techniques to perceive vulnerabilities. Experience developing the principles of information management and development of cyber security policies, procedures, and standards. Experience making recommendations to high- ranking officials concerning overall plans and proposals for complex IT project, related to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and timely resource provisioning. Exercising full program management responsibility by planning, directing, coordinating, developing, tracking, assessing, and implementing IT solutions for assigned application systems and subsystems.
