Locums Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Santa Cruz, CA. This role is ideal for a physician who is committed to providing comprehensive care to adult patients, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and management of chronic and acute illnesses. Candidates with Geriatrics experience are encouraged to apply, although those Board Certified in Family Medicine with relevant Internal Medicine experience will also be considered. In this position, you will conduct thorough evaluations of patients, develop treatment plans, and manage ongoing medical care. You will provide primary care services to adults, including routine check-ups, preventive care, and management of chronic diseases. The role also involves coordinating with specialists as necessary, educating patients about their health conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
