Thoracic Surgeon - Central, New Jersey - Start ASAP

Description: Physician shall devote no fewer than 40 clinical hours per week to the role of thoracic surgeon. Provide thoracic surgery consultation at hospitals facilities, and in an office or offices established for her to consult with patients. Perform the full scope of thoracic surgical services, including but not limited to minimally invasive/robotic surgery. Assistin developing a Center of Excellence in Thoracic Surgery in the region. Establish regular office hours for consultation at locations as directed by the Vice President of TheMedical Group or his/her designee. Promote compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, licensing and accreditation standards. Provide educational and training programs for medical staff, employees, residents, and the community at large. Provide other additional services, including but not limited to participating in such committees and activities of the Medical Staff, as may reasonably be assigned by the Vice President or as required to maintain membership in the Medical Staff. Perform reasonable administrative responsibilities related to clinical work. Record, keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services provided by physician in accordance with the requirements of the law and third-party payors. Create a multidisciplinary service to optimize the care of thoracic surgery patients at both campuses.
