Summary
This position as Business Manager for the Susquehanna Club Catering facility located at Defense Logistics Agency Susquehanna in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

Duties
Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors.
Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment
Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
Performs other duties assigned.

A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation and medical exam.
Environmental requirements, licenses, background checks, etc.)
Heavy lifting may be required, up to 44 lbs.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (i.e.; restaurant, bowling center, golf course) to be managed.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
Posses at least five (5) years' experience managing a FMWR Business Program.
Possess at least two (2) years' experience as a GPC Card holder or Billing Official.
Posses at least two (2) years experience with SNACS/PRISM, or similar system.
Possess at least two (2) years' experience using Caterease, or similar Catering Program.
Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
