**APP Hospitalist Opening in Illinois** -Located in Canton, IL. -Type: Full-Time, permanent. -Shift: 3rd Shift. -Hours: 72 hrs biweekly; 10:00pm-9:00am; Days Varied. The Quality Coordinator of Inpatient Care (QCIC) works in collaboration with physicians and ED Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to manage care for hospital inpatients (IP). The APP reports directly to the Vice President of Quality and works closely with the Director of Quality & Utilization Review. **Requirements** -Graduate of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Family Physician accredited program. -Minimum of 1-year hospital or critical care clinical experience as an IP APP provider preferred. -Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois. -BLS certification through AHA required. -ACLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months. -PALS or willingness to obtain within 3 months. -ATLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months. **Community** -Canton population is 15,000. Location provides choice of city, small town, or rural setting. -Close proximity to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Peoria Regional airport with daily flights to most major cities. -Community is stable, with recently renovated downtown and new medical device manufacturing facility (one of the largest developments in central Illinois).
