Locums Otolaryngology Physician

We are seeking a qualified Locums Otolaryngology Physician to provide comprehensive care in Richmond, VA. This position involves 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM and is hospital-based.Responsibilities include providing 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM and managing an average of 6 cases per day. You will be required to perform surgical procedures such as thyroidectomy and extended parotidectomy. Additionally, you will conduct general surgical otolaryngology procedures including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and PE tube placement.Your role will also involve general non-surgical otolaryngology tasks such as hearing evaluations and management of disorders involving the ears, nose, throat, and skeletal facial structures. Endoscopic procedures required include septal, sinus, flexible bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, and laryngoscopy. Facial surgery procedures will include rhinoplasty, facial fracture repair, and skin grafts/flaps.Requirements:·         Board Certified in Otolaryngology.·         Active Virginia medical license.·         ACLS and BLS certifications.·         Proficiency in EPIC documentation system/EMR.
