Job Description
DescriptionSummary:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures
patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS
Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Answering patient calls and
helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Feeding patients,
measuring, and recording their food and liquid intake.
Monitoring and documenting patients'
temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or
doctors.
Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.
Job
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
1 year
of experience required.
3 – 5 years of experience preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications
BLS required.
National PCT Certification (includes Phlebotomy and EKG)
preferred.
Work Schedule:
5 Days - 8 Hours
