Summary About the position: This position is in the Community Services Flight and manages snack bar operations. This position is guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can be scheduled to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Must be able to lift and or move objects weighing 40 pounds. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. This position is subject to a pre-employment drug test screening. The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. This position requires for a Food Handler's Certificate Must meet the age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides knowledge of restaurant or beverage operation and responsible experience related to management aspects of food, beverage or hospitality services which demonstrated ability to perform duties of the position. Experience must include responsibility or supervision over various phases of food and beverage management. Must have experience with cash and making change when receiving payments. Must be able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and walk and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for a long period of time. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
