Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Duties You will manage all administrative matters associated with the commercial equipment fleet. You will be responsible for effective communication with higher headquarters, supervisors, subordinates, vehicle operations, Installation and unit coordinators, and Logistic Movement Control Center. You will plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate the transportation operations and activities of the Regional Operations Section. You will perform staffing analysis of requirements and recommends changes to personnel strength, trades, and level expertise. You will develop internal policies, standards, methods and procedures for carrying out mission functions. You will be responsible for control and inventory accountability of Plant Accounted and garrison equipment located in dispatching offices. You will determine work priorities, recommend scheduling and derivations in scheduling and changes in shifts for subordinate employees, provide training, resolves problems and recommends corrective actions. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating and dispatching general transportation support of passengers and cargo; developing and continuing operational and technical policies; AND managing a civilian workforce with various transportation licensing qualifications (i.e. Transportation Coordinator, Dispatch, and CALTRANS).
