Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Leader, based in Seoul, for the Korea/Japan region. This is a ground floor opportunity to drive new business by acquiring gaming and non gaming app marketers in Japan/South Korea (User Acquisition and Re-Engagement). This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer will be our first hire for the country/region, and as a member of the revenue team will work closely with the customer success, marketing, and product teams to deliver revenue growth for the business.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Own the new business cycle from end to end from customer identification to prospecting to closing new deals.Â
- This role sits at the intersection of our customers, our products, and the ever evolving ecosystem. Understands and stays current on each of those elements in detail to be able to add genuine value to our customers.
- Leverage our marketing resources (content, event, ABM) to close business and drive awareness for the brand. Represent Aarki at industry eventsÂ
- Partner and build relationships with ecosystem partners.
- Self starter; Operates independently and is able to balance long term growth with short term efforts to drive aggressive growth for the company in the region.Â
Skills & Experience:Â
- 5+ years of experience as a seller in the programmatic Ad Tech space. Understands customer needs/challenges, the UA/RT landscape and competitors, and ecosystem trends.Â
- Location; Seoul
- A strategic consultative seller; Well researched about customers, genuinely curious about their business challenges and is able to bridge the gap between customer need and Aarki’s resources (products, people etc.).Â
- Builder mindset; This is not just an AE role. This is the opportunity to 10X a business. We’re looking for someone who is inspired by that challenge.Â
- Able to hit the ground running. Experience with small to midsize companies preferred.
- Works well with internal stakeholders across CS, product and marketing.
