A/C Technician

We are a Union Shop 638 looking for an AC Service Technician and Installer with at least 1-2 years experience. The candidate will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of heating/cooling equipment including: motors, fans, heat pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, and condensers/evaporators. Job Functions: Perform repairs to all related AC equipment in a timely and professional manner. Correctly completes the preventive maintenance on AC equipment. Provides advanced troubleshooting of AC equipment. Position Requirements: HVAC trade school/ Background of formalized classroom training. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Must maintain regular attendance (reliable) and show to work on-time. Flexible to work a fluctuating schedule (overtime/24-hour standby emergency service) as needed. Familiar with materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC systems. A valid driver license and good standing record is necessary, we will not hire without one. Should be able to properly use a touchscreen mobile device (take pics, use mobile applications). Conscious of appropriate attire and appearance. Pay is commensurate to experience.
