About the role:

We're looking for an Account Operations Director to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive strategic business initiatives and optimize the way we do business with a key client account. You will be focused on many areas including program strategy, innovation, financial performance, quality of service, efficiencies, and forward thinking thought process. This role will have you providing subject matter expertise surrounding development/enhancement of overall team process, procedure documentation development training, technology implementation and compliance achievement. As an Account Operations Director you will:

  • Work with customers to develop strategic business objectives for the meetings program focused both on client and BCD M E objectives.
  • Engage and network with customer end users to sell the value of the meetings program and drive adoption.
  • Financial management of the contract to ensure budgets and forecasts are achieved.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day management of staff, operational success and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Be proactive and anticipatory with operational trends and implement necessary changes in a timely manner.
  • Continually monitor staff alignment and organization to ensure the highest levels of customer service, efficiency and productivity.

  • Understand and evaluate customer opportunities for; process improvement, consulting solutions, identify and evaluate individual projects on the basis of a cost benefit proposition.

You're good at:

  • Building strong and trustworthy relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Implementing and managing accounts.
  • Building and training new teams
  • Budget and cost management.
  • Leader in change management
  • Reporting and data analytics with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Identifying opportunities through business and industry trends with consultative approach on client recommendations.

You might also have:

  • Technology configuration and process knowledge.
  • Operations account management experience within the Life Sciences Meetings Events Industry.
  • Experience with Speaker Bureau Management

You should know:

  • This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina with an in office requirement of 2 days per week
  • Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM -5:30 PM with an hour break.
