Account Associate, Chicago

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial customer success expert who enjoys the interpersonal side of client management and nurturing relationships! You will play a crucial role in the financial success and brand awareness of the region/city that you operate in! This role will report to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager at Chowbus.

What You'll Focus On:

• Lead the onboarding of new restaurants to the Chowbus marketplace app and help restaurant owners troubleshoot their setup
• Manage a portfolio of client restaurant accounts and be the primary point of contact
• Occasionally go on-site to restaurants to help with system troubleshooting and ad hoc support
• Organize, track, and assign restaurant requests coming from all channels (Intercom, Wechat, calls etc.), and ensure completion of requests within service-level agreements (SLAs). Resolve restaurant requests related to understanding their finances, performance and promotions, etc.
• Conduct proactive outreach to inform restaurants of policy changes or news, as needed
• Inspire adoption of promotions, campaigns, and services across restaurants on Chowbus with the end goal of deepening our partner relationships and acquiring new users in your region for our mobile app
• Coordinate the implementation of restaurant-level discounts with our restaurant clients and the Chowbus HQ team
• Coordinate the production and placement of in-store branded materials (flyers, banners, etc.) with our restaurant clients and the Chowbus HQ team

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Are bilingual in Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese
• Excellent communication skills
• Have 1+ years of experience in an account management, client-facing role, or field marketing role
• Have a track record of being a top performer in a previous sales or customer management role
• Are comfortable working in a scaling startup environment and adapt quickly - a strong multitasker
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive drive to win
• Proficient using collaborative and internal tools, or can learn them quickly (Salesforce, Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Apps)
• Experience working in the restaurant or hospitality industry (bonus points!)
