Role Overview

The Account Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing marketing materials to ensure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and carrier requirements.   The ideal candidate cares deeply about the quality of their work, is organized, and can manage competing priorities.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance process at MediaAlpha, which will primarily be focused on monitoring marketing materials to ensure compliance with CMS regulations and carrier requirements.
  • Submit approved marketing materials to HPMS and track opt-ins by carriers.
  • Oversee and review all submissions in the MediaAlpha Asset tool, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to the MediaAlpha guidelines.
  • Manage submissions of marketing materials to carriers for approval, review and negotiate carrier comments and requested changes, and maintain meticulous records of versions and updates.
  • Work with MediaAlpha’s business and development teams and publisher partners to revise materials to address carrier comments.
  • Set up and provide day-to-day management for our Open Exchange advertising campaigns, including collecting all required campaign assets, managing all campaign targeting, scheduling, and tracking settings, establishing overall campaign structure, ensuring accurate performance tracking, and QAing.
  • Assist in prioritizing account management activities and initiatives by thoroughly understanding the partner’s needs and the company’s account management priorities and best practices.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with all team members.
  • Provide feedback to the Product team on ways to improve the MediaAlpha Asset Manager.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience with project management and/or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint). 
  • Prior experience in marketing coordination, submission strategy development, or a similar role within the insurance or advertising industry is preferred.
  • Must be solutions-oriented and able to work independently, collaboratively, and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate concisely and thoughtfully, particularly with written communications.
  • Display an adaptable and collaborative disposition with an enthusiastic outlook.
  • Eager to learn, driven to improve, and a willingness to make mistakes.




Compensation & Benefits
