Account Coordinator - National Accounts

Role Summary 

The National Account Coordinator is an important part of the team who will provide administrative support to the National Accounts while gaining experience on managing small accounts of their own.

This role works hand in hand to support the Account Management team in their daily operations and activities, manage small accounts and collaborate with both internal stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities 

Your role will include:

  • Provide support to Account Managers
    • Assist with the creation and maintenance of client guidelines and instructions
    • Manage the centralization of claims intake and triage of new claims
    • Preparation of data reports for clients and Account managers/executives
    • Regular preparation of client specific data for client operational reports
    • Support in the production of monthly, quarterly and yearly client operational reports
    • Provide support with necessary technology and liaise with IT
  • Responsible for the maintenance and document management on internal sites
  • Provide reporting support and data management
  • Assist with providing training and ongoing support for adjusters on National Accounts
  • Subject matter specialist on use and administration of client claims management systems
  • Perform account/file reviews to determine operational compliance
  • Manage small Accounts under the guidance of leadership
  • Manage a small pending of claims

 
Education, Knowledge and Experience Required 

  • CIP Completion or actively working to complete
  • Post Secondary Education
  • 2-5 years of Insurance industry experience, preferably in a claims adjusting role
  • Experience working with Data and Exceptional MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Strong computer skills with an aptitude/ability to learn new software/databases
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to be licensed to work as an adjuster in Canada
