About this role
The role of the Account Director is suited to a candidate who is wishing to expand a successful career in Sales and Account Management, in a company with unlimited growth potential. The right candidate will ideally have 5-7+ years client-facing sales and/or Account Management experience in digital.
We are looking for strategic and creative contributors who understand that a customer-centric approach is key in growing successful relationships. The Director of Account Manager will contribute to the company's accelerated growth by managing and growing key client relationships through platform and product expertise, data-informed measurement and growth strategies, and a solutions-driven approach. The right candidate will understand how to successfully drive revenue through strategic negotiations and optimizations, with a heavy focus on consultative sales and client service.
This role will provide the successful candidate with professional growth both in management and as an individual contributor, with a real opportunity for career progression and international travel as the company expands globally.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the strategy as a team lead on Roktās Customer Success team, including revenue delivery and growth goals globally
- Is able to pitch Rokt externally as a brand ambassador. Is able to ladder customer relationships at Director or VP+ level, land and expand Rokt in accounts and Assist BDs with Tier 1 and GT20 BD discussions
- Oversee results delivery through daily metrics tracking and strategic proposals
- Ensure client goals are met through proactive management and optimization
- Breaks down complex product/client barriers to unlock new Rokt opportunities
- Deep vertical expertise and is able to train team to become experts as well
- Is able to define go-to-market strategy for verticals they lead
- Ability to successfully manage multiple clients, campaigns, strategies in an organized and meticulous manner
- Work with R&D to influence product development pipeline to solve client problems and achieve the company vision
- Builds talent by proactively identifying & reaching out to new talent and actively manages career development for customer success team
- Able to set direction and manage resources to deliver team objectives. Works across departments to remove blockers and ensure customers success
Requirements:
- Proven B2B communications leader with 5+ years of tech, marketing, business, customer experience
- Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output. Enjoys rolling sleeves up.
- Budget management expertise
- Extensive knowledge of customer success principles and practices
- Stature, gravitas, and confidence to gain the credibility and respect of high-performing senior leaders across the business
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, and results oriented
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
- Excellent and persuasive communicator
- Polished with significant exposure to customer and industry partners with a high level of commercial acumen
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical initiatives
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with leadership team and staff
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
- Solid understanding of core online and digital technologies
- Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Online CRM tools (E.g. Salesforce/Hubspot) and analytics software such as Tableau
