Job Description

An Account Director's role is to be a part of the selling process, on boarding process and to grow new and existing client relationships while delivering a customer experience that maximizes market share and profitability for each client. Primarily working with enterprise accounts generally with potential in excess of $100,000/yr. and providing guidance for Account Managers for escalation, problem solving, or revenue opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create long-term, trusting relationships within portfolio of assigned customers
  • Develop new business opportunities for account revenue growth with existing customers
  • Create and execute annual account growth plans
  • Participate in Business Development presentations with new prospects as subject matter expert.
  • Review all pricing and maximize profit
  • Know Baesman's value to the client and have ability to communicate it to them.
  • Problem identification and resolution
  • Identification and pursuit of cross sell and up sell opportunities
  • Be vertically integrated inside every account. Know two bosses up and two people sideways and have a relationship with them
  • Responsible for the health of the account and quarterly business reviews with each account
  • Responsible for knowing the client's business, its direction and how Baesman should play a role in its objectives
  • Initiate and participate in client entertainment
  • Know who our competitors are within an account and what it will take for Baesman to succeed in gaining strength of relationship
  • May require attendance for after-hours social functions and travel when requested

Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of organization including Executive and C-level.
  • Problem solving skills, ability to anticipate issues and provide solutions for clients
  • General understanding of print/mailing industry is a plus!
