Job Summary
Assumes the leadership role, internally and externally, for a group of accounts or a large/complex single account. Effectively manages clients and their brands developing and recommending strategies and tactics, executing and evaluating account activities.  Identifying and developing new business opportunities. Accountable for all decision-making on specific account and brand issues. Responsible for the growth and development of their direct reports
Key responsabilities
- Client Management: Viewed as a partner by clients and their cross-functional team members and adds value in extended brand team meetings. Applies senior-level experience and knowledge to grow and secure the clientsâ business. Takes a leadership role in the development of strategic plans, marketing plans and brand/business reviews, including challenging the client strategically. Serves as the external and internal brand ambassador, earns client trust and confidence. Advises on category and industry trends and the regulatory environment. Directs the execution of account plans and activities, within designated timelines and established budgets.
- Business Management Leadership: Manages the billing while overseeing the budgeting, planning and tracking of business activities to ensure profitability on clients. Commits to continuous improvement of company policies and processes required to support business growth. Responsible for revenue phasing/forecasting. Anticipates issues and implements solutions accordingly for all brands.
- Account Team Leadership: Provides leadership by being a coach and a mentor for their direct reports and the employees. Provides clear direction, defines priorities and performance objectives. Is accountable to assess workload of the employees and help them find ways to manage their stress. Recognizes and empowers their team to help them get the work done. Demonstrates emotional intelligence and manages conflicts when occurs. Challenges the status quo to find new and better ways to work; inspires and generates new ideas from their team. Be present and motivates the team by celebrating brand/team successes, sharing credit, providing rewards and recognition and development opportunities. Honours own commitments/promises, and inspires commitment and loyalty in others. Manages recruitment and employee performance issues and termination of employees when needed.
- Business Development: With a focus on growing the agencyâs business, develops new business opportunities within current client base and potential prospects. Networks within the industry, builds and nurtures relationships. Identifies and enables initiatives to expand our value with clients and make us an indispensable partner to their business.
- Key Internal Leader and Partner: Monitors the performance of projects and programs, serving as the ultimate decision-maker across all departments. Manages processes through internal teams, clients and suppliers. Ensures that client mandates are successfully carried out. Provides clear and timely information to any internal resources involved in projects. Ensures clear, open and respectful communication between directors and associates. Works in partnership with the creative, production and administrative teams. Facilitates when necessary mutually beneficial resolutions to internal project challenges within and across various Tank teams.

Key competencies
- Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline
- 5 to 7 years of experience in agency;
- Exceptional service orientation;
- Excellent knowledge of the trends of the communication and marketing industries;
- Demonstrates strong strategic ability;
- Shows business savvy and financial acumen;
- Exhibits strong communication and persuasion skills;
- Self-starter, ability to work autonomously;
