Job Description
As an Account Executive, you will be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base at Avoma to develop new business opportunities and grow customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are curious, diligent, and want to learn and develop their professional skills within a fast-growing start-up. As an early member of the team, we will work together to create the building blocks for our outbound strategy and set up the foundations and processes for future Sales Development Representatives at Avoma.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term profitable relationships.

What you will be doing in the role (Responsibilities)
- Create detailed business plans designed to attain predetermined goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
- Present, promote and sell Avoma using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
- Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches
Requirements
What you need to be successful in the role (Qualifications)
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or similar sales/customer service role in a SaaS company
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Hubspot) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
What sets you apart (Preferred Qualifications)
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing
- Worked in a previous SaaS start-up
- Previous B2B Sales Development experience
- Expert Level knowledge such as Hubspot, Apollo, Linkedin Sales, etc.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies and tools

- A transparent base salary
- Starting Salary $65,000 - $75,000 (DOE) plus commission
