We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. This role will drive revenue growth by handling inbound marketing leads and proactively making cold calls to potential clients. As an Account Executive at Event Rental Systems, you will be critical in qualifying and engaging with Warm and Cold leads of potential customers to generate sales and expand our client base.

As an Account Executive in the SaaS (Software as a Service) industry, your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth by acquiring clients. Your role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and proposing suitable software solutions to meet those needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media platforms.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospective clients to understand their pain points and business goals. Tailor software solutions to address their unique requirements.
  • Product Demonstration: Conduct compelling product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of the SaaS solution. Illustrate how the software can solve the client's specific challenges.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and beyond. Provide ongoing support, address any concerns, and foster trust and satisfaction.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients, working closely with the legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and mutual agreement.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate record of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system. Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and customer success, to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Industry and Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Utilize this knowledge to position the SaaS solution effectively and provide insights to clients.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on SaaS solutions, market trends, and selling techniques through self-learning, training programs, and industry events.
  • Respond promptly to inbound marketing leads, including emails, inquiries, and web inquiries.
  • Qualify leads to determine their level of interest and suitability for our products and services.
  • Conduct effective cold calls to generate new business opportunities and schedule appointments.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff and follow-up.
  • Communicate the value proposition of our solutions effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to position our offerings effectively.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to understand complex customer requirements and navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and sales productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of the event rental industry is a bonus.
