World Business Lenders provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the country that lack access to traditional funding. The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is a key contributor responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with independent sales organizations (ISOs) to grow the WBL channel partnerships. He or she will provide assistance, support and guidance throughout the process while simultaneously reaching out to the national network of over 20K potential clients, in a variety of approaches including but not limited to phone calls, email campaigns, and text messaging. The BDS will identify, assess and execute business development opportunities within the companyβs targeted market sectors to build market share for WBL.
Strong relationships and sales skills are at the core of this role, and the successful incumbent will not only be able to confidently interact with clients and executives at some of the largest brokerage firms throughout the country, but also work with WBLβs internal operations team to increase sales with existing customers, by employing dynamic sales techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential strategic alliances, sustain & improve existing ISO relationships
- Understand competitor offerings and be able to sell against them
- Ability to sell business loans secured by Residential and Commercial Real Estate
- Answer ISO emails and phone calls regarding WBL products and programs
- Develop and implement continuous contact strategies with ISOs to increase submissions
- Analyze environment for channel partner business opportunities and continued surveillance of the market
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
- 5 or more years sales experience in an ISO Brokerage, MCA lending institution, or Factoring industry.
- Persuasive selling and communication skills.
- Work autonomously with outstanding results
- Proven success in an outbound call center environment, responding to and converting digital leads.
- Basic knowledge of real estate verbiage.
- Ability to learn quicky and work independently in a remote environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills
- Excellent business judgment.
- Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent practical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Positive, team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
- Computer skills β Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability in developing strategies and tactical plans that drive sales growth.
- Understanding of the ISO brokerage business and MCA lending experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work with customers to understand their needs and influence requirements.
- Established customer relationship acumen, partner relationships and optimized customer experience.
- Experience creating relationships with clients.

Compensation/Other:
Competitive compensation package, including $36k annual draw plus uncapped commission based on production, offering strong earning potential in the six-figures.
Vacation/holiday pay and 401(k) Plan with company match after 90 days; benefit package (Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, Life/Accident/Short-Term Disability insurance) on first of the month following or coincident with 60 days; Commuter Benefit Plan and EAP immediately upon hire.
