The Role
We are looking for a smart, driven and autonomous Account Executive to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in building our sales team and help us set, drive, and execute our ambitious revenue goals.
Though every day will be different, you can expect to spend time:
- Be responsible for the successful acquisition of new business against a quarterly and annual quota.
- Grow and develop the sales team. You will help create sales strategies, and train new sales representatives.
- Set the tone by fostering a culture of strong achievement, inclusiveness, collaboration, creativity, and accountability as the strength of our teams is the foundation of our success as a business.
- Work with clients to demonstrate how the Modo platform can improve performance through data and analytics.
- You will promote the right activity to maintain and build pipeline, paying close attention to the health and legitimacy of business opportunities so that you can create predictability in the business and accurate forecasts.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Have experience building sales processes at a growth stage SaaS/software business.
- Have full sales cycle experience in a software or SaaS business, managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise deals with six and seven-figure values.
- Are resilient, optimistic, and possess a growth mindset.
- Know how to build and nurture a technical sales pipeline and possess exceptional time management & people skills.
- Are passionate about the energy transition.
- Experience in the Energy sector is a plus but not essential, preferably within low-carbon business models or with an energy trading background.
