Job Description

Xigent Solutions is looking for a self-motivated, relationship-oriented sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive specialized in representing our services portfolio. This role is responsible for driving business development activities designed to increase market penetration and revenue with a focus on managed services sales. The ideal candidate will have experience selling contracted IT services or similar solutions to clients in a wide range of industries, a passion for sales, and a drive to build new client relationships and close deals. This position requires a strong work ethic, solid communication skills, the ability to understand customer business challenges, and explain the business value of the proposed Xigent Services. The Account Executive will be the initial point of contact for potential new customers and will be responsible for engaging the appropriate technical resources to determine the best solution to solve the customer's business problems.

Duties Include:

  • Prospect for new accounts and drive new business development
  • Develop and manage a pipeline 4x annual quota
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly & annual revenue and margin goals
  • Monitor and mediate all communication between customer, vendor, and technical resources within each account
  • Be timely and responsive to all customer quotes & inquiries
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer needs
  • Attend networking and sales events in assigned territory
  • Plan and execute joint sales activity with key services partners
  • Build and maintain opportunity pipeline in CRM with 90% accuracy
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Service Delivery Managers
  • Learn and follow Xigent's Customer Centric Sales Process
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • C-Level contacts within our target market a plus
  • 4+ years of proven success in cloud, managed services, or solution sales position
  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients, business partners and team members
  • Proactive and self-motivated professional who is resilient and enthusiastic. Able to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment while multi-tasking and prioritizing across a number of projects and initiatives
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a great team member
  • Strong presentation skills targeting key decision makers
