Who are we?

Fresh Concepts is the premier produce procurement company serving the foodservice industry today. We serve national or regional foodservice clients who desire a comprehensive, centralized, ongoing produce program.

Fresh Concepts began in Chicago where two brothers, Ed and David Liesenfelt, set out to improve relationships throughout the produce supply chain, and negotiate directly for end users with their best interests in mind.  Fresh Concepts has grown tremendously since our inception in 1987, but our principles and purpose have remained the same, to offer our clients the most comprehensive and actively managed produce program in the industry. From our Food Safety program and high-quality Grower Shipper contracts to IT Services with interactive dashboards & online ordering, we customize our program to fit our clients' needs. As a member of the Buyers Edge Platform, Fresh Concepts clients benefit from over $35B+ in Transactional Volume and the foodservice industry’s most comprehensive system for data and purchasing technology integrations.

This is a remotely based position preferably based in US Mid-West or Western region. Travel up to approximately ten trips a year is required. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an Account Executive who enjoys working as a team towards common goals, has a solutions-oriented approach and a positive attitude.

Your impact:

Our Account Executive Team works directly with corporate level Food Service clients, as well as working collaboratively with all internal cross-functional team. You will be responsible for developing new business relationships, as well as building and maintaining existing client relationships. You will provide excellent client support, communicate all client initiatives to internal teams and leverage company expertise/capabilities.

As an Account Executive, you will provide clients with yearly Business Reviews to outline how we performed each year, with additional visits throughout the year for high-level clients.

You come with:

  • Ideally 2-4 years of related experience
  • Exceptional client service
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationship with clients
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Produce experience and/or produce knowledge is required
  • Understand and provide program benefits
  • A valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Ability to travel
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of project
