Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to hire an Account Executive who is responsible for working with clients to manage new and existing accounts. You come with experience in managing high profile accounts with the ability to develop relationships both remotely and face to face! You will work closely with clients to add account revenue by adding new programs, additional business, and bringing them opportunities. You come with high energy and will be a key piece in a team driven culture. This position requires strong interpersonal skills as communication within the team and clients is crucial.
This position will ideally be hybrid (3 days/week) based near either our Waltham, MA or Lake Worth, FL offices, but it can also be based remotely.
Essential Duties
- Track all client activity and opportunities in Salesforce, as well as keep internal systems and databases up to date on client information
- Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement
- Collaborate with support and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met and to build and maintain client relationships
- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning
- Review client data and work with Client Operations team in driving additional revenue through direct manufacturers programs
- Focus on new business for all sectors of the Platform and have full understanding of Consolidated Concepts' interaction with Platform brands
- Identify and develop Channel Partner relationships
- Serve as the client’s voice within Consolidated Concepts
- Must be comfortable being the point person for client and internal departments
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on competitors
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
- Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
Customer Facing Responsibilities
- Establish and deepen relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and providing exemplary support as their primary contact within Consolidated Concepts
- Participate in on-going meetings and calls to communicate frequently with clients on updates, information, concerns and opportunities
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and identify any potential issues. Create recommendations and facilitate action for resolution
- Identify opportunities for potential up sell, including produce programs, and supply chain consulting, and Master Distribution Agreement services
- Be available to travel to meet with clients face to face, participate in business reviews, client calls, conferences, meetings, and industry events inside and outside of office
- Track follow up for any client involved meetings
- Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients, produce paperwork for signature
- Makes sure sufficient research is done before engaging
- Do intro calls, schedule and run webinars, face-to-face meetings
- Take potential new clients through paperwork, in an effort to expedite the close
Requirements
- 4-year Bachelors’ degree a plus
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a car
- Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Ability to travel nationwide, including overnight at a minimum monthly
- Efficient, detail oriented, and well organized
- Have strong communication and relationship management skills
- Excel in explaining complex information in ways that are easy to understand
