We are looking for a passionate Account Executive to join our sales team. The Account Executive's responsibilities include building relationships with new prospective clients by generating leads, planning persuasive approaches, making sales calls, presenting solutions, continuously updating the CRM database, and meeting all minimum sales activity levels including sales quotas, calendar activity, and prospect lead follow-up.

To be successful as an Account Executive, you should be an inspired self-starter and able to drive sales growth consistently. Ultimately, a top-notch Account Executive will build rapport with prospective customers, close sales, and grow Buxton's client base.

What you'll do

  • New Business Development - Prospect for new opportunities using proactive outreach methods to develop a sales pipeline and close new business.
  • Teamwork - Partner with colleagues to drive our overall revenue.
  • Business Industry Acumen - Become an expert in your market, building a deep knowledge of the key players, trends, and the market landscape.
  • Customer-First Focus - Develop strong prospective client relationships by delivering regular communication, sharing valuable insights, and offering appropriate solutions.

Requirements

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider relevant experience
  • 2-5 years of proven sales and account management experience in a business-to-business environment selling business intelligence or data and analytics product solutions
  • Proven track record exceeding sales targets and quotas in a sales environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use company software, including but not limited to Salesforce and related CRM products
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
