Account Executive
Job Description
Position Summary:
As Account Executive, you are responsible for garnering media and influencer coverage for all client accounts to meet your projectsโ KPIs. In this role, youโre consistently seeking out โtop-tierโ new outlets and contacts as well as fostering active media relationships. Part of your role will be to help develop new creative strategies by contributing to and helping execute on thought leadership. As an effective communicator, youโre able to communicate not only the opportunities, but also the strategy and our value and successes to the client. You are regularly in touch with media and our clients, and have your finger on the pulse of an ever-changing national PR and communications landscape.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
โ Facilitate client coverage: Garner meaningful media and influencer coverage for all client
accounts. Develop new strategies and execute thought leadership opportunities for clients.
โ Showcase and foster media relationships: Showcase deep media relationships and continue to
build on those for clients in the purview.
โ Build new relationships: Consistently seek out new outlets, contacts, etc. that should be either
top tier or in communication with.
โ Team up on creative strategies: Work with the team to develop new creative strategies on a
regular basis in order to land meaningful client coverage. Consistently craft compelling pitches.
โ Communicate value and successes: Demonstrate a clear understanding of client goals and how
to effectively communicate value to the client.
โ Keep a finger on the pulse: Keep up on the latest trends in the media and PR/storytelling
landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS
โ (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
โ (Preferred) Minimum of 3 years of PR experience working and/or interning at an agency
โ Ability to showcase specific strategic results you have driven for non-profits, foundations,
and/or social and racial justice initiatives.
โ Maintains close relationships with journalists in NYC or LA, as well as in the national landscape.
โ Excellent written skills
โ Based in or near LA or NYC office
