Job Description
As an Account Executive at Corcentric, you will join a driven team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will drive new sales within a dedicated industry vertical and are responsible for creating strategic business plans to deliver on sales quotas and reach your commissions goals. You will identify qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities, effectively and persuasively articulating the Corcentric value proposition. You are a skilled sales professional with an experienced, disciplined approach towards new business development, with the ability to initiate, manage, and close significant sales opportunities.
This key position reports to the Lead Account Executive within our North America Sales team. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!
As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for:
- Identifying, developing, and managing new customer relationships within your target market segment
- Managing and growing the Corcentric footprint within assigned industry through active prospecting and networking
- Managing your sales pipeline and forecasting
- Managing through complex sales cycles, negotiating deals and closing contracts beneficial to Corcentric and our customers
- Creating, adapting, and executing a business model that is in sync with company goals
- Collaborating with Business Development and Solution Consultants
- Meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Requirements
You'll need to have:
- Approximately 4+ years' of technical sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or Enterprise Resource Planning environment
- Proven business development success turning cold accounts into active customers
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by consistently closing deals through effective negotiations and deal management
- A Hunter-Challenger type personality, combined with board room presence and C-level presentation skills
- Ability to express ideas and information effectively in individual and group situations, including adjusting language and approach based on the audience
- Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of a complex sale cycle
- Previous formalized training in strategic sales, solution selling and/or process-oriented sales approach
- Strong intellectual skills, with a high level of enthusiasm for problem solving and analysis
- Excellent customer service instincts combined with exceptional relationship building skills
- Ability to adapt with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software
- Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time

It's great if you also have:
- Financial Software and/or Services experience, operational or Sales-based
- Experience with business process re-engineering in the financial or accounting domains
- Project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
