Job Description

Fresh Concepts is the premier produce procurement company serving the foodservice industry today. We serve national or regional foodservice clients who desire a comprehensive, centralized, ongoing produce program.

Fresh Concepts began in Chicago where two brothers, Ed and David Liesenfelt, set out to improve relationships throughout the produce supply chain, and negotiate directly for end users with their best interests in mind.  Fresh Concepts has grown tremendously since our inception in 1987, but our principles and purpose have remained the same, to offer our clients the most comprehensive and actively managed produce program in the industry. From our Food Safety program and high-quality Grower Shipper contracts to IT Services with interactive dashboards & online ordering, we customize our program to fit our clients' needs. 

This position is remote. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. Travel will be required. This can vary based on client needs. Possibility of one visit per year to most clients.

The Account Executive will start building the relationship with the client once the sales team has gathered the needed paperwork for the client to start on our program. The AE will then build and maintain client relationships. The AE will provide the client with reporting and facilitate all produce needs for the client.

Your impact:

  • Work directly with corporate-level Food Service clients, as well as working collaboratively with all internal cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for developing new business relationships and building and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Provide excellent client support, communicate all client initiatives to internal teams, and leverage company expertise/capabilities.

About you:

  • Produce experience and/or produce knowledge is required.
  • Understand how to utilize Office 365, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Exceptional Client Service.
  • Strong Communication and Organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Understand our Foodservice Produce Management program and provide program benefits to clients.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Contributes to moderately complex aspects of projects, internal and external.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with the ability to rent a car.
  • Two to Four years of Produce industry experience.
