Account Executive
Job Description
SalesRiver, a leading sales management platform serving IMOs, FMOs, agencies, and carriers across life insurance, health insurance, and medicare industries, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through lead generation, customer acquisition, and management of sales opportunities. This position will have be responsible for the complete sales cycle process, including: prospecting, initial sales calls, software demonstration, negotiation, and closing of the sale.
Responsibilities
- Engage in direct sales highlighting the case for change and the move to SalesRiver's solution. Direct sales process will include prospecting, qualifying leads and customer needs, recommending solutions, pricing, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed quota targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Identify attractive channels to market, strategic partners, advertising and PR tactics.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers to showcase the capabilities of the SalesRiver platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address customer needs and drive ongoing product innovation.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deal, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with all involved parties.
- Forecast sales pipeline accurately and provide regular reporting on sales metrics to senior leadership.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continually improve sales effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the insurance or enterprise software industries.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools.
