Job Description
Ibotta is seeking a Partnership Development Account Executive, GMR (General Merchandise Rewards) to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. Ibotta is fundamentally changing how the world’s leading advertisers think about performance marketing, and we are looking for data-driven sellers to join our rapidly growing team.
You will play a critical role in driving the growth of the general merchandise rewards (GMR) team by generating new business opportunities and helping to increase our sales pipeline.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-
time remote. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
● Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads and identify potential clients.
● Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
● Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts.
● Utilize sales tools and technology to track and analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
● Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads to the sales pipeline.
● Work with general merchandise brands to educate them on Ibotta’s value proposition, by developing, advancing and ultimately closing the partnership with the client
● Identify and build relationships with key prospects, such as brand executives, managers and advertisers through cold calling, networking and referrals
● Manage high volume of accounts, with ability to execute strategically

What we are looking for:
● 1-2 years of experience in a high volume sales role, or other relevant experience
● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● Technical Skills: G Suite, Looker, Product knowledge
● Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Experience with sales tools and technology including mail merge software, lead generation platforms, Salesforce, etc.
● Experience or interest in selling digital, mobile, or media advertising solutions into verticals such as CPG, retail, or general merchandise.
● Effective communicator, both written and verbal (Candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
● Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment
● Desire to achieve excellence across the entire sales spectrum (i.e., email outreach, cold calls, presentations, etc.)

Additional Details:
● This position is located in Denver, CO or with the option of full-time remote and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity.
● Base compensation range: $50,000-$60,000.00. This range is not all inclusive as total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to the base salary that will increase total earnings. Talk to your recruiter to learn more. This compensation range is specific to the state of Colorado's local labor market and may vary for employees living in other areas.
