Account Executives identify prospects and introduce them to GoodUnited's unique and category-defining Value Proposition. Taking a consultative and customer-centric approach they combine current sales methodology and process with their experience to help our customers solve their biggest challenges and activate new opportunities. They are accountable for creating new opportunities, managing pipelines and closing deals.
What does an Account Executive do at GoodUnited?:
- Execute all stages of the sales cycle - prospecting, qualification, discovery, presenting solution, negotiation - to drive bookings revenue for GoodUnited.
- Collaborate with Sales Development and Marketing to target and engage new prospects. Standout from average industry sales reps by creating innovative outbound strategies and meaningful prospect connections.
- Manage your business by generating leads, tracking pipeline and forecasting bookings revenue. Align the GoodUnited sales methodology and sales process so the organization can help you overachieve and provide the business predictable, high velocity revenue.
- Understand the Pains and Gains at an industry, organizational and individual level and effectively align GoodUnited's Value Proposition. Encourage our prospects to think big and reframe the way they are thinking about challenges and opportunities.
- Deliver highly personalized and impactful demonstrations (via Zoom) to a range of stakeholders - Users to C-Level executives. Share relevant customer success stories and create a vision of transformational outcomes for your prospects.
- Lead internal cross-functional pre-sales partners (Strategy and Professional Services) to present compelling business cases, ROI propositions and strategic plans for our prospects.
- Become a recognized thought-leader and advocate for social fundraising. Share trends, best practice and insight across the industry. Even if you don't win the deal - leave our prospects with valuable insights and a great experience.
What experience, skills and competency does an Account Executive need to be successful here?:
- 2+ years work experience in sales closing role in software, SaaS, Marketing/Social Services solutions managing complex sales cycles
- Demonstrates grit, intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, extreme ownership, stays positive and aware you are not the finished article essential
- Experience selling a new category or disruptive solution to net new logos highly preferred
- Experience working in a high growth or start-up environment and comfortable operating at fast pace navigating ambiguity preferred
- Strong technical acumen and comfortable running own product demos preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent highly preferred
- Proficient in creating and delivering executive-level, data driven presentations with proven experience in influencing C-level executives; possesses the ability to flex presentation style mid-stream to maintain control of the audience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and initiate things independently and act or take charge before others do
- Experience working with Facebook, LinkedIn, Social Media marketing tools and/or platforms, and CRMs such as Hubspot
