About our Account Executives

Rhythm Account Executives are growth specialists. You will work with prospective customers of different types, sizes, and missions to demonstrate the power and value of Rhythm.

Account Executives are entirely responsible for the health, size, and accuracy of the sales pipeline. Using established methodology and industry knowledge, you will usher deals through each stage of the buying journey while ensuring momentum is maintained. 

Your #1 job is to educate and guide prospects through this process by helping them learn how Rhythm can support their organization.


In this role, you’ll get to:
  • Position the value of Rhythm’s software and implementation methodology to associations and non-profits 
  • Run a full sales lifecycle (from the first meeting to close) to help prospective customers see how Rhythm can empower their organization
  • Forecast pipeline accurately and achieve quarterly quotas consistently
  • Dissect and qualify prospects’ goals and realities to determine if Rhythm can be a strategic investment for them
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to prepare effective product demonstrations to complex buying panels that include executives, technically astute users, and infrequent users
  • Pair Rhythm’s story with the buyer’s needs to craft presentations that resonate and inspire
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing with precision to dramatically increase conversion rates at the end of the sales cycle
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the CRM to provide clear visibility to leadership and cross-departmental teams
  • Effectively leverage and communicate with internal resources (marketing, product, customer success)
  • Serve as the voice of the market and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas - including the product
  • Contribute to Rhythm's sales blueprint and drive best practices across our team

We’re looking for people who:
  • Have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a B2B SaaS sales role with a track record of success
  • Possess the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales
  • Have a sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly, and monthly activities will help achieve them
  • Have a growth mindset and a strong commitment to take responsibility for their successes and failures
  • Have strong intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills that shine when qualifying prospects and overcoming objections
  • Have confidence and experience speaking to different audiences through written and verbal communication
  • Strive to empathize with others, seeing situations from perspectives other than their own
  • Want to help mission-driven organizations do good in their industries, professions, and communities
  • Can effectively communicate with internal teams while being remote and working autonomously

During the onboarding process, you will:
  • Take Rhythm Academy courses where you will learn the Rhythm story and what makes our market and platform unique
  • Follow a 3-week sales bootcamp where we will set you up for success. The curriculum will cover our sales tech stack, sales methodology, competitive intelligence, and industry knowledge
  • Complete product training so that you can confidently speak to the solutions and value Rhythm provides
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 day plan, and meet and shadow current members of the Sales team
  • Meet key partners in Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product - all critical relationships for you throughout the deal cycle
