Job Overview

Beacon is a high-growth financial technology company, which has more than tripled in size in the past two years. This is an exciting role that will constantly change with the needs of the business. Be ready to challenge yourself and tackle any task that comes your way.  We are looking to hire a talented, proactive, experienced and results-driven candidate to join our sales team. The sales associate should be a team player and responsible for hitting an annual target and generating revenue by developing the pipeline, and winning new logo opportunities. 

What You'll Do
  • Develop, nurture and execute a pipeline to drive new logo opportunities in the region, including conducting effective discovery calls.
  • Manage the growth of the business through proactively seeking, identifying and supporting sales opportunities as an individual sales contributor with an annual target.
  • Support your designated sales or account management team with administrative and client-facing duties.
  • Assist team members in meeting client requests, preparation for client demos and meetings, sales collateral requests, and general sales process support. 
  • Coordinate and lead responses to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Ensure opportunities are accurately reflected and updated in Salesforce.com. Have strong attention to detail and process.
  • Coordinate with Legal on contract proposals, extensions, and amendments creation and processing.
  • Coordinate resolution with Finance as needed for billing questions.
What We're Looking For
  • Passion and desire to build a career in sales.
  • 3-5 years’ experience selling enterprise solutions. Understanding of technology/software applications in capital markets. Knowledge of cross asset and commodities trading and risk management solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving quota
  • Resilient, confident, and maintain a positive attitude 
  • Responsive, organized, and disciplined, with good follow-through and time management skills
  • Quick learner and willing to learn from others. Preferred: a strong background in consultative selling and training in the use of successful sales tools, i.e., Miller Heiman
  • Thrive in a team environment with team spirit
  • An overachiever with a track record to prove annual sales attainment against quota and/or pipeline generation. 
  • Good presentation, writing, and communication skills 
  • Excellent hunting skills 
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration , economics , IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel – depending on the pandemic situation

Expected Range: $115,000-$190,000
