WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Momentum is looking for a driven, team player to join us as our newest Associate (aka Account Executive). This is an amazing opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate interested in the business side of our industry. This role joins our account management team, Business Leadership, and will work on some of our largest and emerging brands. An ideal candidate is someone with prior agency experience working on accounts, or experience on the client side. You will be exposed to Momentum’s strategic, creative and production process by shepherding project-related details to internal teams and client teams and directly supporting Senior Associate (aka Senior Account Executive). 


HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
  • Overall account coordination for client programs including integrated campaigns and activations
  • Effectively prioritize multiple programs simultaneously, taking initiative to manage up to the Sr. Account Executive
  • Own client and agency processes/administration for all programs (meeting management, creative and production brief creation)
  • Develop rapport with client, managing daily communications, reporting and presentations
  • Work with the production team for activation/asset builds and shipping logistics
  • Effectively interpret client feedback for internal revision requirements
  • Cultivate strong relationships and communication with internal teams including: Strategy, Creative, Production, Accounts, Finance, and Leadership
  • Support with budget creation, tracking and reconciliation
  • Participate in and oversee the management of project financials, including job reconciliation, in accordance with agency policy and procedures
  • Support the Account team with growth of business within existing client portfolios
  • Create estimates with the understanding of fee structure and client parameters
  • Develop and own key project management documents (workback schedule, contact reports, resource requests, tactical and creative briefs, etc.)
  • Supporting Momentum’s values
  • All other duties as assigned

HERE’S
 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of relevant professional experience preferred (experience in lieu of a degree will be considered)
  • Passionate about advertising and marketing
  • Prior agency experience a plus
  • Proven experience working in a collaborative, creative environment
  • Bilingual in French is a plus
  • Have a pulse on the latest industry and cultural trends to bring strategic and innovative insights to the work
  • Experience working in sports marketing or sponsorship an asset
  • Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced work environment, using strong judgment to troubleshoot issues
  • Comfortable with flexible work hours, travel, and working onsite
  • Proactive, seeking out opportunities to support the team
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage workload with minimal oversight or revisions to work
  • A self-starter that’s able to work independently and as part of team
  • Knowledge of financials: billing reports, invoicing, financial maintenance on projects/clients and ability to generate estimates
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and confidence presenting
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word programs
