Account Executive, Digital Health
Job Description
Edelman has an opportunity for an Account Executive to join our talented and award-winning digital health team. The digital health team is a fast-paced, hybrid team of practitioners that spans everything from digital and social strategy to execution. The successful candidate will be a passionate digital strategist with hands-on digital marketing and communications experience. You are part strategist, part practitioner (âa do-erâ). You can provide insightful strategic recommendations to our clients based on your knowledge of what it takes to execute at the highest level in health communications.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team in creation of digital communications plans and goals; manage against them
- Support the daily client contact and client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
- Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
- Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, analytics etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needs
- Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital/social advertising, including participating in the development of plans and working with creative and paid media specialists to execute and optimize campaigns
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement of skills; set and pursue stretch goals
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing.
- A bachelorâs degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- A solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used as well as solid research, writing, and editing skills.
- They should have the ability to develop social content as well as build relationships with media and apply experience and initiative in developing traditional and digital media relations strategies.
