Overview

Our Account Executive will partner with our sales team, as well as work independently on sales opportunities, to lead day-to-day management of current clients' insurance programs.

What You'll Do
- You will be required to meet with clients to perform proactive Best Practice and service reviews, which focus on plan provisions and overall administration. The main goal is to eliminate potential liabilities that may fall back onto clients and avoid improper administration of their insurance plans
- You will serve as the liaison between clients, National Insurance Services, and our partner insurance carriers
- Other functions include needs analysis, identifying cross-sell opportunities, renewal and rate reviews, provision change requests, market bidding, gap analysis, and employer/employee education
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the group insurance industry
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, and Supplementary Insurance background desired
- Basic literacy in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint) required
- Analytical ability is required in order to be able to analyze and identify problems, offer proposed solutions, and implement agreed-upon solutions
- Ability to read and understand contract language
- MN Life and Health License or ability to acquire those licenses within 4 weeks of the date of hire
