Account Executive, Enterprise
Job Description
We are looking for an Account Executive to strengthen our sales pipeline and drive new business across the North American market. This crucial role will have a direct and highly visible impact on the success of our business. Qualified candidates must be experienced in selling into enterprise and are comfortable with longer sales cycles. Our ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter willing to dive in and hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales opportunities, and advance multiple complex deals through the sale pipeline simultaneously
- Determine customer requirements and present appropriate solutions in a nascent and rapidly evolving segment
- Report market discovery back into the broader organization; specifically, partner closely with SDR team to refine and improve lead generation efforts and with product organization to inform product development
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering team to ensure successful demo calls and Customer Operations to support the POC process
- Support existing, key US-based accounts as needed
- Work with Sales Leadership and customer champions to identify additional use cases for Diveplane software
- Mentor and train new sales hires to support team development and expansion
- Support and lead sales process improvement initiatives
- Attend trade events and be prepared to publicly speak on behalf of Diveplane
Requirements
- Proven success selling AI/ML software or cloud applications into enterprise is required
- Experience selling to and influencing executives and decision makers at Global 2000 companies
- Self-starter with a hunter mentality and unwavering drive
- Ability to push through complex sales cycles that involve many stakeholders and potential obstacles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Great organizational and creative-thinking skills
- Previous sales into financial services or healthcare preferred -still true for this role?
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a computer science or business-related field preferred
- Willingness to become an expert on Diveplane's products and solutions
- Positive attitude, a curious mind and collaborative spirit
- Ability to travel regularly
- Local candidates strongly desired. If not local, must be within a direct flight to RDU
