This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Account Executive, Expansion, SMB in Germany.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive expansion within the SMB segment across a fast-growing global SaaS environment. You will be responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships while identifying new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you will help them maximize value from a leading HR and payroll platform designed for global teams. The position requires a strong sales mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex client needs across multiple stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success, retention, and revenue growth. This is a high-impact role where your ability to build relationships and execute strategic account growth plans directly contributes to business expansion. You will operate in a dynamic, remote-first environment with significant international exposure.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will manage the full expansion sales cycle while ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth within your portfolio.

  • Manage renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities across SMB accounts
  • Communicate with clients to understand needs and demonstrate product value
  • Develop strong long-term relationships and act as a trusted customer advocate
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of client requirements
  • Identify expansion opportunities through proactive account analysis and engagement
  • Maintain accurate CRM data including pipeline, forecasting, and account activity
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets on a monthly and annual basis
  • Improve customer experience by resolving issues and optimizing processes
  • Requirements:

    This role requires strong sales expertise, a consultative mindset, and experience working with SMB customers in international markets.

    • 3+ years of closing sales experience in a SaaS or B2B environment
    • At least 2 years of experience selling into the Nordics market
    • Proven success in expanding and growing a greenfield territory
    • Strong ability to manage full sales cycles including renewals and upsells
    • Experience working in cross-functional teams focused on customer success
    • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce (SFDC)
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish
    • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
